Macarthur Job: A Life in Aviation is the theme of a new photographic exhibition to be unveiled at the 2014 Open Day at the Airways Museum on Saturday 8 November. The exhibition will be on display for one year.

Mac Job began his life in aviation flying in outback South Australia as a flying doctor pilot during the 1950s. He later went on to join the Department of Civil Aviation as editor of the famous Aviation Safety Digest. There Mac honed his unique skill in being able to reach the ordinary person with his air safety messages. Mac later became well-known around the world iin his long career writing about air safety, authoring many books and articles on the subject.

This exhibition celebrates Mac Job's life in aviation and his long contribution to air safety. Through the generosity of his family, the exhibition draws on Mac's own photos from his flying doctor days, as well as material from the collection of the CAHS.
